Anya, 26-years-old, lives in London. Habitual insomniac, compulsive gamer, scatterbrained perfectionist. A fussy bookworm, romantic at heart but extremely cynical about the real world, am in fact a misanthrope 99% of the time but more than happy to meet new people.

Am very shallow when it comes to the shiny, if it's got a good plot and interesting characters, I'll like it. If it's got a really well written female character I will adore it. I don't like dumbass gender politics, double standards, angst whores, fandom wank of any kind, that means that I keep the hell away from all the shipping wars. I lurk most of the time and only comment when I feel that I have something to say. I really like my heroines, I go looking for books/films/tv series that have well written female characters and male characters that don't make me want to punch them in the face. 

I also have a weakness for postcards, blank notebooks, cats, good tea and sleeping. I love my sleep.

Current Interests: Asian culture, classic world poetry, ancient history and mythology. Gender and women's roles past and present, Steampunk.
